Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, EMEA and Global Business Development. 
This position will be responsible for establishing the short and long-term strategic plans, budget, and operating rhythm across all functions in DACH, Benelux, and Nordics to achieve targets that include new and growth bookings, retention rates, services revenue/profit, expense management, operating income, and customer satisfaction. 

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership and guidance for the Workfront team in the DACH, Benelux, and Nordics regions for Workfront
  • Primary responsibility is to lead and manage the enterprise class sales team in DACH, Benelux and Nordics Region
  • Thoroughly understand specific customer’s work management/project management needs and demonstrate Workfront's ability to solve those needs
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and monthly sales by possessing a full understanding of customers’ specific decision-making and purchasing process
  • Meet face to face with customers to build relationships and gain an excellent understanding of their political and corporate environment
  • Effectively manage RFPs, bids & other customer requirements
  • Formulate and execute a sales strategy within your region, deliver pipeline development, acquire new customers and grow revenue to meet and exceed quotas.
  • Adhere to organisational sales processes or propose processes that will better achieve results within your territory
  • Continually improve upon sales and product technical skills for your team through a professional development process Market Leadership
  • Acquire, integrate, and share industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors in the region

Customer Success

  • Manages relationships with key customers and potential customers to achieve increasingly high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance the organisation's ability to meet the customer, business and shareholder expectations.
  • Assists with escalations and driving internal alignment on critical customers
  • Ensures visibility on all customers for usage and renewal risk
  • Assists with staffing and coverage planning

Position ROI/ Success Measures

Achieve target or above for: annual revenue (new and growth), customer retention rates, and operating income.

Desired Competencies and Experience

  • Fluent German and English Speaker
  • Experience working with US-based headquarters
  • Consistent attainment of sales quota
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of the revenue model in a SaaS company.
  • Proven ability to create an operating rhythm for global execution
  • Proven ability to make sound and rational judgements and decisions
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external associates
