The Groupon Ads team is seeking a product manager who is excited about accelerating the Ads platform that offers a rich array of advertising solutions to Groupon merchants and helps customers discover products.
This is the opportunity to drive forward the consumer and merchant facing products that will help grow Groupon’s Global Advertising business, which is active in 15 countries across NA, EMEA and APAC. In this role, you are the product owner for Groupon Ads portfolio and will play a pivotal role building compelling, impactful advertising solutions such as self-serve platforms to provide campaign automation and management, full funnel campaign targeting and measurement solutions designed to support the needs of Groupon Merchants by helping customers discover, research and buy across various Groupon properties. You will partner with talented product analysts, data scientists, software engineers, business stakeholders, and global leadership teams. You’ll contribute to a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. You'll think strategically to create a product vision and multi-year roadmap, can influence without direct authority, and enjoy the process of bringing solutions to life with strong skills around translating stakeholder needs into elegant requirements and user stories.

You'll spend time doing the following:
Be customer-focused and obsessed with solving problems and looking for opportunities to improve user experience
Collaborate regularly with leaders across the business to ensure that product vision aligns with business needs and requirements
Build relationships with different people across all teams, partnering with internal stakeholders across the business to understand new feature needs and bring those features to life
Create and own the vision and roadmap for your area of the product portfolio, prioritizing based on bringing maximum value to the business
Work with design and engineering team to come up with mockups and feature requirements
Create technical specifications, drive development, test results and iterate
Own product backlog and prioritization
Partner with design, data science and engineering teams to validate and execute your roadmap at lightning speed
Be outcome-focused and keen to measure the impact of everything you have prioritized and released.
Provide clear communication and coordination across business, sales, operations, finance, design and development teams
Be creative. Have ideas and opinions. Don't be afraid to try, fail and try again.
Were excited about you if you have:
Bachelor's degree required/MBA a PLUS
At least 2 years experience in Product Management
Passionate about advertising and have experience creating compelling solutions that work both for end-users and advertisers.
A track record of having effectively managed product roadmaps, writing clear and specific product requirements, ideally in an agile environment
Strong quantitative analysis skills with ability to communicate actionable insights from data
Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple competing priorities
A familiarity with A/B testing and/or other lean testing methodologies,
Must be able to collaborate and lead across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audience
Be self-directed and proactively anticipate problems and address the innovative solutions
