About this Role

Fandom is growing! We are hiring an Account Executive with a digital media background based in Chicago and traveling in the Midwest region. You will sell to top brands and agencies with an existing book of business and create new business for Fandom working across all areas of pop culture and gaming. You will report to our VP of Sales.

Fandom announced an acquisition on 10/3/2022, we have new brands joining the team. Welcome - Gamespot, Metacritic, TV Guide, GameFAQs, Giant Bomb, Cord Cutters News and Comic Vine from Red Ventures which adds another 46M Monthly Active Users to our already 300M MAUs. These brands are in addition to our portfolio which includes: Fanatical, Screen Junkies, and Muthead/Futhead,

You Will...

  • Collaborate with our teams to develop strategic media and custom integrated marketing solutions for proactive proposals and in response to RFPs
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals by growing existing and driving new business partnerships in the Chicago - Midwest region
  • Manage your dotted lined assigned sales support team (sales planning, account management, sales marketing, custom solutions, research and insights)
  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market account plans
  • Provide strategic media and custom integrated marketing solutions, for both proactive pitches and in response to partner RFPs
  • Serve as a consultative account specialist and expert resource for the company on strategic accounts, including long-term partnership recommendations
  • Own your territory revenue forecast

You Have...

  • 5+ years of professional experience in digital media
  • 3+ years sales experience
  • Collaboration, strategic planning and negotiation skills
  • Contacts with strategic Midwest area clients and ad agency teams - CPG, QSR, Insurance, Retail etc.
  • Passion to work in a dynamic organization
  • Ability and willingness to travel
