About this Role

Fandom is growing! Our Senior Coordinator, Experiences opportunity is based in Los Angeles, and reports to our Lead Manager of Experiences.

Our Experiences team creates amazing events for fans of TV, movies, games, and entertainment of all kinds. From community gaming events, to fan convention afterparties, to B2B conferences - our Experiences team works touches all parts of the business.

You will need an eye for the small details that make an event special, and also be able to maintain a view of the big picture goals of Fandom and our partners.

You Will...

  • Build in-person events while following the latest local Covid Compliance Protocol
  • Build experiences entirely in the digital space and hybrid events, learning new technology
  • Manage graphic design deliverables against timelines, budget, and brand guidelines
  • Research, manage vendors, venues, and digital platforms
  • Coordinate with vendors including venue, talent, transportation, accommodation, catering, decor, production labor, audio visual
  • Manage databases, timelines and files
  • Take meeting notes to be distributed to team with clear action items
  • Solve issues as they arise, while also thinking creatively about how to provide a smooth production
  • Be available and willing to travel

You Have...

  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • A love of unique event experiences,
  • A sense of hospitality
  • A respect for Fandoms of all varieties
  • A willingness to work long hours while on site, spending large amounts of time on your feet
  • Experience permitting standards (Including Covid Compliance, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise)
  • Beginner analytics skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Asana, Slack, G Suite, specifically Google Sheets and Slides, invitation systems (ie Zkipster, Eventbrite)
