Fandom's Programmatic Team is hiring! Fandom is looking for a Programmatic, Sales Director to promote and steward our Programmatic Direct business and partner with our sales team to increase revenue. You will report directly to the VP of Programmatic and consult with multiple partners across Sales, Operations, Product, and Marketing. The Programmatic team at Fandom oversees our GTM Programmatic Direct strategy, 1st party data strategy with important data partners, curated marketplaces, and open market relationships. The preferred location is New York City but you can be remote.

You will partner with our Sales Team to increase Programmatic Direct revenue through PG and PMP deal facilitation. As part of the Global Programmatic Team, the Programmatic Sales Director will enhance all Programmatic Direct relationships with agencies, brands, trading desks, and SSPs in the United States.

You Will...

  • Amplify Demand: Create demand through programmatic teams at clients and agencies using strategic SSP and DSP partners.
  • Provide Insights: Collaborate with the Direct Sales team to identify and target specific buyers and clients with unique strategies to grow programmatic sales across Fandom.
  • Develop a Pipeline: Develop a pipeline of buyers that Fandom should target for PMP activation across display and video inventory.
  • Value Communication: Craft compelling GTM material, clarifying our programmatic value proposition for clients.
  • Goal Champion: Manage internal forecasts, boosting our quarterly programmatic direct targets.
  • Skill Empowerment: Train the sales team to excel in Programmatic and Data sales to clients and agencies.
  • Revenue Dynamo: Exceed annual revenue goals by nurturing a customer pipeline.
  • Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with the Programmatic and Data Team to grow data commercialization strategies.
  • Efficiency Maven: Team up with sales leaders and Revenue Ops to optimize inventory use.
  • Deal Mastery: Propel revenue through Programmatic Guaranteed, Preferred, and PMP Deals.
  • Data Monetization: Strategize monetizing 1st and 3rd-party audience data at Deal ID and IO campaign levels.
  • Execution Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of programmatic campaigns by working with Ad Ops and Rev Ops teams.

You Have...

  • 10+ years of experience working with ad tech-based programmatic advertising platforms or publisher side
  • Built relationships with agencies and clients, with a specific focus on programmatic teams, driving demand with SSPs and DSP partners
  • Track record establishing, developing product, and monetization partnerships.
  • Domain-specific experience in SSP, DSP, and programmatic direct strategies
  • Have sold both programmatic guaranteed and non-guaranteed deals.
  • Client-facing experience with projects around Programmatic and Data
  • Understanding of the First party data landscape and interpreting a changing market landscape.
  • Negotiated with ad tech, ad network, and data vendors.
  • Experience with programmatic video and services, including industry trends, players by category, and knowledge of the advertising ecosystem and landscape
  • Established relationships within the ad tech and programmatic buying industry

Bonus if you have

  • Experience working with data companies such as Audigent and Infosum
  • Programmatic Operations experience (setting up deals, analysis)
