Fandom is growing! Our Sr Business Intelligence Analyst opportunity is based in the United States, and reports to our VP Corporate Development.

Our team is a fan of all things entertainment and games. As a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving key decisions for Fandom. In this role, you will work closely with business & technical stakeholders across various functional teams (marketing, product, tech, revenue, c-suite, etc) to support measurement needs for brands like Fandom, GameSpot, and Metacritic.  You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and transforming complex business data into actionable insights. Your expertise will contribute to strategic planning and overall business success.

You Will Own…  

Explore and interpret Fandom’s data

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of internal and external data sources to extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand information needs and deliver relevant, timely, and accurate reports.
  • Own a databook: build, maintain and improve an externally-focused reporting package

Continuous Improvement

  • Find improvements: improve our new product launch and goal setting processes
  • Keep us competitive: monitor and benchmark us against competitors
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.

Drive change through collaboration and data-based insights

  • Lead meetings and influence C-level stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Corporate Development team to provide data-driven insights that support strategic planning, and other business development initiatives.

You Have...

  • 5+ years overall experience
  • Internet advertising industry expertise (understanding of how internet usage is measured and how advertising revenue is delivered and earned)
  • Productive with broad directions
  • Proficiency in query and scripting languages as well as databases and common data analytics platforms and tools (e.g., Amplitude, BigQuery, Google Analytics, Qlik, SQL, XSLT)
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs and Slides

Bonus Points...

  • Industry understanding of movies, TV, and gaming
  • An investment banking or consulting background
