Job Description

LeanData is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Events Intern. In this hands-on role, you'll be at the forefront of planning and executing internal and external events while actively contributing to projects aimed at providing hospitality and making LeanData a fantastic place to work. 

Responsibilities:

  • Get involved in every aspect of event management, from brainstorming creative ideas to executing detailed plans.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring our events exceed expectations.

  • Take charge of specific event tasks, such as organizing logistics, coordinating tech requirements, and overseeing staffing arrangements.

  • Put your communication skills to the test by helping to craft engaging event announcements and presentations.

  • Actively contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall employee experience at LeanData.

  • Assist with the nitty-gritty details of event execution.

  • Support OpsStars 2024

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality or a related field.

  • Enthusiasm for getting hands-on experience in event management and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and a willingness to take on new challenges.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • A can-do attitude and a passion for making a positive impact on workplace culture.

This role is based from our Santa Clara, CA office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and will be paid $17.75 per hour. You must be available to work full time on the week of September 16th, onsite at OpsStars in San Francisco, CA.

Compensation

  • Tier 1$17.75 per hour
