Mocana seeks a high-energy, execution-oriented Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for working hand in hand with our Enterprise Account Executives, as well as the product and engineering teams to align toward growth of adoption and successful deployments in the market. The ideal candidate will possess the intelligence and aptitude to position the benefits of our offerings, as well as the strategic thinking to drive the technology aspects of a complex sales process.
What You’ll Do
Work with our Enterprise Account Executives to provide technical support for sales of the Mocana IoT security platform
Take a consultative approach to help customers solve IoT security challenges using our products
Present and demonstrate our products to prospective customers
Support customers through pre-sales, evaluations, pilot deployments, and taking a land and expand approach
Work with internal teams including product management and engineering to provide feedback from customer product suggestions, needs, and concerns
Troubleshoot any issues that arise in a timely manner and provide relevant solutions
Perform high impact presentations to prospective technical audiences
Who You Are
Experience with secure networking protocols (IPSec/IKE, SSL/TLS, VPN)
Experience with data security best practices, cryptography and enterprise PKI
Experience in embedded technology, OEM, and manufacturing environments
Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
Excellent presentation skills
Driven by superior customer satisfaction and delighting customers
BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field
5+ years experience in sales engineering
